We have done extensive research and determined that the dodecahedron dome is the model for the future of housing on Planet Earth as reflected in our new logo. This structure is considered to be the STRONGEST dome structure and the dome is the STRONGEST structure for building. This dome can with stand 200 mph winds, hurricane force waves, tornadoes and earthquakes.

Where can you find a COMPLETED home that offers 1000 plus square feet like the one the one shown in the video of Kevin's dome for $42,000? Even our largest kit of 42 feet in diameter offering a potential 2000 square feet can be built for under $110,000!

Our research shows that a new double-wide modular house starts in the neighborhood of $75,000. No double-wide that we have seen offers the option of a second floor loft or balcony. In the 42 footer it is possible to add an additional 800 square foot floor.

We have all witnessed the destruction of double-wides in the path of high winds from tornadoes and hurricanes. The double-wide is created to “give” where dome homes are able to with stand the pressure of 50,000 pounds and not give one inch!

The Social Enterprise model that we have chosen is a hybrid of a for-profit and non-profit combined. The for-profit 7^th Haven Development will be responsible for the marketing of the dome home kits. The non-profit will be involved in the manufacturing and building of the dome kits. We will be able to put people back in the work force here in the western North Carolina mountains who have lost their jobs through the movement of manufacturing to foreign countries like China. We offer what we call “micro-manufacturing” and believe that our company can become a model for other communities.

Through our non-profit we also are on a mission to build 7,000,000 of our dome homes in the next 7 years starting here in the United States and spreading throughout the world.
